Does anyone know which ohlins shock is a direct fit to the stock swing arm?
The ktm rc8 one looks similar to a trx or but not sure of length and bolts hole diameter.
Is an adapter required for installation?

The KTM shock have a 36mm body not a 46mm and are over 50mm too short.. so no good at all for a TRX.. 345mm eye to eye centres is the shock length for the TRX.. 340mm for a YZF750...(adjustable ride height on the shock will fix the length or 5mm shorter dogbones)
But not all are suited as they have different stroke lengths/ eye to eye lengths, and valved and sprung for a specific bike and rider weight..

These are the codings from Ohlins on their shocks..

D - Monotube high pressure gas type with internal reservoir in main body

Thanks Cobba useful info there. Spoke to a guy about the ohlins brand new cost $1400! Another 600 and I could buy a a whole trx for parts.

U gotta a spare kayla adapter? Or anyone in Aus?
