Good afternoon gentlemen,
On my current TRX project my instrument cluster is broken and I'm thinking of fitting an aftermarket gauge such as an Acewell to go with the Cafe racer look.

What I'm wondering is has any one done this before and did you run into any problems.

Any pics of your set up would also be appreciated

works well,..best advantage is the speed is represented by a numbr ,..not a needle

That looks neat as but my cluster is not existent so i was thinking of putting one that does everything like this one

I've fitted a similar one and it works fine, the scary bit was cutting through the loom. I had a Haynes manual handy too which made life a bit easier....Good look with it.

I fitted a Koso db01r and its the biggest pile of shit I've ever spent money on. Mounting and fitting is a nightmare, just not bike friendly and the bugger is impossible to read because its so small. I'm hoping to get the original clocks mounted up on the yzf750 stay as its a lot smaller than the Trx and fit a nice screen over them to keep the crap out. I really like the older clocks

Ditto.. so easy to read the stock dash. I'm just fitting a small locator on the base of the R1 forks so it mounts the speedo drive with the stock TRX wheel.

I have a KOSO RX2..okay not so 'cafe' but as far as wiring it was a doddle and no loom cuts required..works a treat too

If you want quality then these are the only way to go.

Yep, I have the Motoscope Light with the Motosign. Superb piece of kit.

As the old saying goes, "you pay your money, you make your choice".
Motogadget stuff is top notch but pricey.

Yeah i got no issue with paying good money as long as its a good quilty product. I really like the look of the top notch Acewell its got a nice finish and has been given a good rap and is only roughly $400 and does everything and more.
