Will 41mm early R1 forks fit the YZF750 triple trees??

After picking up a complete YZF750 minus motor I was reading about Brett Mcgraw having a modified axle using a TRX front wheel with 2000 model R1 front end on his bike. Both the YZF and early R1 had 41mm forks so I'm wondering if the R1 forks will fit into the yzf tripple trees??? The reason being I can still utilise my TRX track wheels set up with slicks, bluespots and 300mm discs .. The yzf front wheels seem a bit of a rare item now and the cost of setting up another yzf front wheel 320mm discs sounds like the same cost as getting R1 forks with adjustable comp/rebound and modifying the axle... So anyone know of the R1 forks fit the YZF TRIPPLE TREES??? Measurement of YZF FORK diameters ARE 50mm top yoke 56mm bottom yoke ...FORKS 210mm centre to centre on triple tree..

I'm confused...are the YZF forks 41mm? the internal diameter of the triple trees clamp will be larger when the clamping bolts are released.

I didn't measure the diameter of the triple tree itself Rod , I measured the forks diameter right under/over the triple tree.. The inside fork leg measured just under the fork seal or beside the brake calliper is 41mm being upside down forks..

Well I had to delete the last post as I can now understand the difference in part numbers at the end.. The YZF750 triple tree is 2mm larger on the bottom than the R1 so this is how to get around this problem...
http://www.yamaha-forum.net/forum/showt ... ngth+forks
Machine or make up a 1mm sleeve for the bottom tree..
Next thing to look at is the length of the legs...
The YZF750 is 755mm from the top of the tree to the centre of axle...
My trx with std forks is currently 760mm but with 70 series tyre and yzf dogbones... so I need to find
The length of the R1 forks and models that ran with 298mm discs...
