Re: I want to know Knowledge CDi.
The 00 is the coding on the old part number for early model TRX's and the 01 is the new part number and is the same as the later model TRX's. The first number and letters usually denote the country for export. I know the 4un is listed as the Australian part number for the item and these have no restrictor which triggers a rev limiter via the speedo as per the Japanese model TRX. Hope this helps

As I see it, is that 4NX = Japanese spec and 4UN anything outside Japan.
I have one of both.
Running 4NX now but without restrictions, not sure how this is done.
I have one of both.

Re: I want to know Knowledge CDi.
I can only presume but it seems like the circuitry on the Japanese spec 4NX varies to accommodate the 180kph restrictor triggered by the speedo. This cuts in around 7000rpm. There is a magnet attached to the needle and another placed at 0kph and another at 180kph that activate the 7000 rpm rev limiter instead of the std rev limiter at 9200rpm. As long as there is nothing to trigger the 7000rpm rev limiter as the magnetic triggers are not a std item on all other TRX speedometers apart from the Japanese spec model, all should work fine and rev freely to the Big Bang limiter cuts in at 9200rpm. The reason the magnet lives at 0kph on the Japanese speedo is to stop people from just disconnecting the speedo to get around it...
