Re: TRX900special
I love it.
Don't usually go for cafe racer conversions but this looks stunning.
My own level of creativity falls way short of this project.
Congratulations on such a quality build.

Beautiful build, really clean and all the lines are good. Top work, you should be very proud of that.
Saved that one to my photo library of favourite bikes, hope you don't mind.

It must be true, I read it on the internet.

The 2 in 1 headers I found on this forum http://www.projection-components.co.uk/ ... -168-p.asp , and the silencer is from Lazer (stealth)

Lovely job - and the satin yellow just finishes it off.
Is that a TDM9 rear shock?

The rear shock is from a 2005 zx6r witch was an easy fit , but I found out during a long ride that it needs a lighter spring

Not sure if this would work on a stock trx as the shock reservoir may foul the reg/rec. But then moving the reg/rec would be simple enough

Re: TRX900special
8.5HP is a bit of a bold statement everywhere just from the exhaust system.... A stock TRX puts out 76hp so another 8.5 will get it close to 85hp.. I can show dyno results of gaining just on 6 HP from a carby rebuild and just getting it all set up right (from 70 to 76hp) and I would believe 2 to 3HP from the pipes on the top end. A 44mm header would rob you of some of that midrange. I gained 2HP from the large bore 2 into 1 from pipemasteres with incremented header diameters with 44mm coming into play around half way between the first two bends...and then 50mm after the collection box...

That is one of Kayla's exhausts, she is a regular on here.
The 8.5bhp was done on a dyno, with a before and after installation.
I have seen the printouts, it is what it is!
