master cylinder seals

Post by pom in nz » Mon Jan 21, 2013 12:46 pm

hey people i have just fitted some el,cheepo rearsets and now i need new rear master cylinder seals.
can anyone tell me if the rubber seals from other bikes would fit, as the ones from yamaha cost more than the rearsets . there are lots on ebay but none specific to the trx
O and heres a pic of the old girl, after an oil and filter change and a wash.
also it will be interesting to see how she goes on motoul 3000 and not deisel oil that i have been using for the last 4 years :D

you should be able to get a generic master cylinder kit, but this may be a match, someone on here who understands how the part numbers work will tell you

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-REAR-B ... 35c3a675de

and there is this which is a match for the trx part number
