Rear caliper options?

Post by PhatVR6 » Wed Dec 06, 2006 11:03 pm

Yeah, I know it's not used a lot so and "upgrade" as such is pointless, but the new TRX I've just bought has a sticking one, so I thought I'd rob the stock caliper of my original bike and it something different to that one as it's got a lot of modified stuff on it anyway.

So, anything good that'll fit the standard brakcet? what about another blue spot one off an R1 or R6? or am I talking custom brakets for somthing like this?

I think you'll be making brackets. Phuk has a blue spot on his, but I think it's off an XJR or something.

Yeah, Billet do a mini GP style caliper, but he recommends doing two in tandem with a bracket to suit.

AFAIK nothing bolts straight on.

Be careful with any aftermarket stuff as you will need it to accept a torque arm

Mine is an R1 caliper with modded R1 bracket and bespoke torque arm
