You need:
An R6 front sprocket in 520. The R6 stock is 525 (Same as the TRX) but 520 conversion is common for these. AFAIK, only Driven make a 17T version, 16 is stock.
An NX-650 Rear sprocket, in any amount of teeth you like, I'm going with 43. 520 is standard. The TDM900 rear sprocket will also fit the TRX, although AFAIK there is only a 530 conversion available for that. Obviously, a stock R6 front & TDM rear in 530 would also give you a 530 option
A 520 chain. I'm going with a DID VX2
Total cost: $196.85.

That's interesting, what rear sprocket did you use?
The JT Sprockets website has the ZX-6R sprocket looking the same as the R6 except with threaded holes for securing, is this correct?

Rear sprocket has arrived, mounting holes line up, but there is a recess where the sprocket nuts go, not sure if the TRX ones will sit in the cutout yet or not, I also think the mounting hole dia is slightly smaller, haven't measured yet, just eyeballing...
Will measure & update.

8.8mm mounting holes on the Honda VS 10.3mm on the TRX... Not a straight swap then.
TDM900 sprocket would be a better choice if it's available in 520...

Although apparently, if you rotate the sprocket a little, there are 10.5mm mounting holes
Just waiting on the front sprocket now...

well, the rear sprocket is an ergal Afam sprocket but i use a R1 2000-2002 rear wheel. I've found some front sprocket in my warehouse (i work in a online shop) and i've tried several solutions. The R6 don't fit, the ZX one is simply perfect, i've installed it on the shaft without modifications. Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow i'll shoot some pics to show the stuff

Bummer, I've ordered the R6 one. Might not be too late to change it...
Pics would be great, I would appreciate that.

Thanks for the tip.
There is a 520 front sprocket for Versys from JT that can be used with a small spacer, JTF565.
You then have the choice of 12-18 teeth.
