this is the pillion grip system that ive just had delivered.
Its the Vinx x grip pillion safety grip that fits to the fuel tank and gives the pillion a much safer ride and especially dosent put any weight on the pilots wrists..
This type is made in Switzerland and while i ordered it from the USA..it posted from ITALY...
Such is the internet...and it reached me in just seven days..cool
As my son is reaching 9 yrs now..its time i tried him on the TRX

Why not just a good length of terylene rope Alex?
http://www.abbeypowertools.co.uk/genera ... 12160.aspx
It`s much cheaper and it`ll stop the little fella jumping off at services to help spend your hard earnt on ice creams and sweets etc.
No seriously, GREAT idea, get him used to being comfortable at speed, we need new biking `blood` or the nimby politicians and lobby groups will force motorcycling into the `past history` books eventually.

Nice one, let us know how it works out, am I right in thinking it is removable when not required?
My kids have a little while to go yet being 6 and 4, but there are other ways to get them started young.

Cheers for the feedback,..its got to be an accessory that ive not ever seen., but so usefull for any pillion..AND so cool to boot...that top photo is from the Troy Baylis ride day...
My fuel cap is one of the CNC cut anodised alloy units that are for the R6-R1 bikes [E-bay again]..which fit the TRX ,...the handgrip is FOR the R6-R1,.. but fits the whole [ six bolt fuel inlet] Yamaha group of bikes anyway.
The handgrip BASE fits over the top of the standard fuel inlet and is designed to allow the normal operation of the hinged cap...then the top is slotted on and then turned clockwise 20 degrees and the two chrome knobs lock in.[spring loaded].
The two side handle bar minis, are adjusted to the angle desired by a large allen head bolt at the pivot points..
The whole assembly is of alloy and high quality.
Gotta be a great thing for any possible pillion...especially on a sports bike.
liked your post too mince..

looks really uncomfortable to me.. how are you goin to feel bendin over like that for a while..at least hangin on to the strap the pillion has a little freedom and common sense says you ain't gunna be goin looney with someone on the back....

Looks really good Alex, nice tip! How much was this one if you don't mind me asking?
(Just needs some of those big foam handgrips I reckon

)
I've still go a few years til the little one's old enough to get on the back, doesn't hurt to be prepared though

Nice pussy
Mate you need to use this link, found in the, Share drop down box, then "Grab the HTML/BBCode" and do a grab of this BBCode, it's the second one. Now past it in without any other add ons.
I've put some dots before the http to stop the photo loading, you won't need them

I love the cut finger pose Cal, I`m going to have to use that `plaster trick`on the single finger salute every time I get a tug by plod. "By the way officer have you seen my cut finger".
Your daughter`s a wee stunner too, gonna break some big boys hearts one day all too soon.
Here`s one of me and my wee stunner as an ankle biter:

Nahhh, that beard of 25 years back was grown into two long twists but nowadays just me goatee with natural highlights.

I might have stopped at wizard like beards, but my daughter took a different direction Cal, and yes, the little minx has broken LOADS of hearts already!:
