Hi All
Ive seen a pair of YAMAHA YZF750R forks on fleabay do these fit the TRX yokes and will the front wheel from the TRX fit or will i have to purchase YZF front wheel and yokes,any help would be appreciatted as these end in 9 hours.They seem to be a nice clean pair and have had the outsides anodised gold and the stanchions have been titanium nitrided.

Thanks for the reply Paul i think i will give that one a miss then could work out exspensive,i will probably replace the springs with some progressive items and replace the oil.I only weigh in at around 72kg so i should not think that they will be to soft.

I am about 70kg myself and have replaced the springs with progressive ones from ikon. After setting the sag I am happy with the spring rate and dive but not happy with the damping. I put some 15w oil in them tonight so I will let you know how I go.
Many here have suggested increasing the fork heights out of the yoke by 10mm more than stock (so 28.5mm above the clip ons) I have also done that tonight but have not ridden the bike yet.
Loads of information on here if you use the search function and lots of good advice too

Hi Paul
After riding the bike for a bit i have noticed the fronk forks dive a fair bit under braking and seem rather spongy,they probably just need the oil changing and springs replaceing.Let me know how you get on with the different weight fork oil as to whether it handles any better.

a belated response but.....
I tried 15 weight oil with the progressive springs and was never happy with the damping.
I ended up going with linear springs to weight and gold valve cartridge emulators. Currently using 10w oil with 3.5 turns on the emulator on the yellow (harder) emulator spring.
It is a vast improvement but alas after spending some time over the last 2 weeks on a VFR 800 which has had some good suspension work done really I think I will be going down the path of cartridge forks
