Hii to you Bobby..just under the main heading for this topic you will find the [REPLY] clickable icon or button.raffo7 wrote:hi, im new to the site and sorry if this question as been asked before, but i would really appreciate if any noes what size the spacers are for the front whell so the thundercat forks fit.And is that all i need for the coversion.

To the right is a [SEARCH]..option as well....and as seeing you are already in the MODIFYCATIONS section of this fine forum...just type the ...THUNDERCAT FRONT END.....into the search and it will list all the ways to go....
Much better than the magazines there next to the toilet..
In short..if you can find the WHOLE front complete...YZF..R1..APRILIA..vespa....
oh and a location in your avatar box helps you no end...thats the one immediatly to your right....................................

Yes you just need the Thundercat forks and the two small spacers to make everything fit. You can use all of the other TRX parts. Sorry I couldn't help with the spacer sizes!

Re: trx coversion to thundercat frontend.
LOL, when I went to buy my in Sydney bike it had 2 Projection Components stickers on it. I presumed the carbs had been re-jetted and the stickers were from the jet manufacturer.
Then about a week later when I had stripped it down to and was taking the swingarm and rear shock off I saw there were projection components stickers on the shock pivot. I thought that was odd so I googled Projection Components, man what a find!
Now I have a list of bits and bobs I want once my savings have recovered from the restoration
