oil starvation

Hi, is there anyway i can modify my trx to stop it starving itself of oil when on the back wheel?

How long are you on the back wheel for?
Balance point I presume?
You could move the oil pickup further rearward &/or run more oil so it can still be picked up...
(Where is the oil pickup point anyway?)

As i'm sure you are aware, a motorcycle can only drive,steer and brake with the wheels on the deck, so IMHO get a chook chaser for the monos and keep the TRX for embarassing all the other model/brand/larger Hp-CC guys.

Unless you are on the back wheel for significant periods of time, you have nothing to worry about

the trx started as a chook chaser motor ... The motor holds a fair bit of oil if you look at the specs apart from the sump and I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find the working capacity of the pump so that would give you an idea of how long it would theoreticly take to pump the bottom of the motor dry

The old TT/XT motors had the same issue, back wheel stopped after a couple of minutes on it only. Perhaps there is something on one of their forums?

Why should the dry sump engine starve itself?
