Any feedback on Hyperpro Spring Kits

Hello guys, looking to get a little better on the front end, was looking at new springs and oil, has anyone got any views on the Hyperpro Spring Kits. Either just the front kit or the combi kit.;-

Sorry forgot to add its a 98 import Trx, and I'm only 11 stone dressed just in my pants. (No pictures enclosed).

Personally I dont like progressive springs, which I think these are. Why do you want a harder spring rate when the forks are compressed?

If you've got an import, as you've probably realised, the springs may be softer than UK spec ones as the Japanese are all tiny.

A swap to UK springs and a fiddle with air gap and oil weight will make big improvements before splashing out ££ on kit like this, although the stadard TRX front end set up is not ideal even if its operating perfectly.

Someone will no doubt say "chuck a YZF or R1 front end at it" which is a good way to go, but costly.

I went for Ohlins springs. Cost about £75 from M&p and are longer (do away with the spacer tube at the top inside the forks) and this made the front end much better.

Otherwise, any suspension tuner will provide you with springs/oil to the right spec to suit your weight.

And please dont go riding just in your pants.

Hyperpro's are progressive indeed, but to my opinion there's nothing wrong with that, espacially for sporty street riding. I bought my bike originally fitted with hyperpro springs - back and front. The bike felt great with them, untill I started fiddling with UPSD forks and YZF rear shock.

95 Japanese Import springs swapped for UK spec ones made a lot of difference! Mince if you want my Japanese ones you can have them, hope you've not got any loose fillings though!

I had a quick look through their listings and the complete shock didn`t come up, instead they list replacement springs front and back and steering damper kits.

When the wife got her TRX it had Hyperpro for springs in it but as she is only about 10 stone the front end was a bit to hard so went back to standard which she is happy with, Hyperpro recomend a different grade and amount of oil, they will be up for sale when sort them out.

by the by, if anyone is cutting new spacers, the stock ones are 35.5mm in diameter....just a handy bit of info to have
