Bought a "one-eyed" race fairing and rear plastics (they don't have it at their www-sites, but can be found at their eBay sites) from Pferrer and they are absolutely 1st class quality; even the attachment holes are pre-drilled and many areas are re-inforced. The rear plastics are one piece model instead of original multi part construction. Unlike most other aftermarket plastics the rear part also has the place for rear seat / seat cover so it still has the original access to small under-seat "glovebox". Not the ultimate race look but in this one I opted for practicality...

When it comes to price I think they are more or less the same price as the other competitors; fairing 199 eur (+ light unit 70 eur) and rear plastics 179 eur.

Anyone know what this rear unit is?

You may also consider AirTech Streamlining in Southern California. Shipping costs aside, they make fiberglass and some carbon body parts for many, many motorbikes, at reasonable costs. They have made most of my racing glass for years. Great folks to work with. Dutch is their Customer Service rep.

I am working on fitment for my TRX, as this is being posted. As no TRX ever sold in North America, none listed. I am going to fit up a YZF 600 '94-'96 fairing/seat/front fender. (hugger is a different beast)

This may be a bit of a stretch for some...but I have been using Airtech-Streamlining in California since my road racing days and many custom street builds.

The "stretch" part is that there are no TRX's in the U.S., so AirTech makes nothing for them...yet. However, my current build is using their skins for a '91-'92 Yamaha FZR600. The race solo seat is a near direct bolt on. (Using the stock front mount or the battery box mounts with spacers.) The upper fairing I chose is their FZR600 race piece with ram air ducts, which i am using to house my two headlights. (FZR6911C) It fits well in two different mounting configurations using the TRX upper mounts, but the bottom mount of the fairing will be my own fabrication. I am not using the race lowers, but am adding "extenders" from carbon fibre mat to match both the original length, the stock TRX look and my Shark helmet) I also have their carbon front fender for an FZR600, but it is not yet fitted to the stock forks. It was not designed for a stock, skinny damper rod fork setup, but for the fatter 600 cartridge forks. I am forming internal mounts to the TRX fork stock holes, with a cutout in the carbon to slide the fender on to, so the mounts are hidden. The width is near perfect. I did spend considerable time with their rep "Dutch" who was super kind and full of helpful information.

It is all looking good in mock up form so far. When I am done and ready for paint, I will post detailed instructions for mounting along with pictures. My lighting will be very unique and hopefully super functional/adjustable and good looking. We'll see!

These guys do some good trx stuff,i bought a single trx race seat for my trx build and its fit and finish was exellent
