Had a quick look last night whilst tinkering in the garage last night. The forks are conventional, off the 5EB (1998-2002?) R6. They are missing the tab to locate the speedo drive, so I'm going to draw up a small band on piece to clamp around the lower for leg, like a miniature clip-on bar and get a machineshop wallah to knock it up for me whilst they ream out the yokes to the correct size.

Sizing all looks good, anything else I need to be aware of?

Does anyone happen to have a detailed guide for stripping a rebuilding a 5EB fork?... don't ask don't get.

Check the axle size on the 5EB forks.
Can easily get around it if it's a larger axle and you use the std trx front wheel with a 17mm axle.
Check out the mod I used on my rebuild thread to get around it.
