Stainless Downpipes

Post by parishi12 » Tue Jul 08, 2008 12:35 pm

Just bought my first TRX (Yellow and Black), I love it!!

Its got a great set of stainless Scorpion exausts, however I can't find a set of stainless downpipes. Does anyone know where I can get a set from? Loads of the bikes out there have them but mine are really grotty looking.

Thanks

:D Welcome to the site.

Use the search facility as cleaning them so they shine has been covered, as has downpipes itself.

get some "scotchbrite" scourer pads. Those green dish cleaning ones if they are REALLY bad. WD40 + elbow grease will bring em up quite nice. Then get some proper polish and a rag to bring em up REALLY sexy lookin.

You will need a whole afternoon to do it, and if you can, take them off to do it. Will make the whole job easier in the long run.
