r6 seat unit

my race r6 seat unit will be arriving today,
im gonna need help!
its an ambitious job for me, ive read honkda willyda honks pages,
but im gonna need a million times more info n pics.
HELP ME N SEND WHAT YOU GOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o<
or feel free to come to the sunny isle of wight n do it for me...i can make tea n cakes n out you up by seaside [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< :)

I dont know about an R6 unit,But i put a 98 R1 unit onto mine here are a few pics.

Dont forget youll probably have to move your overflow bottle, I put mine under the pillion seat.

Sounds like you do want the r6 seat but don't want the work putting it on the REX eejj :lol:

Anyway, you're sticking to YAMAHA that's a plus so good luck with the conversion!

Did you manage to fit the R6 tail unit? WOuld love some piccies if you did :D

Fitting one is next on the list for my project.

So far I've big bored the engine and had the head ported, I've fitted the YZF swingarm and YZF forks and wheels, I've put a harris endurance style fairing on it and next is the R6 tail unit (did ponder a ZX10R tail but then decided it looked too modern compared to the style of the rest of the bike).

chop chop chop....no welding at all,some crafty(not) brackets n here it is,oh and some sticky back plastic stripes!

it was sold as an r6 race seat ???
glad you like it.....like i said before, i wangled a way of not using a welder !!!
