Undertray.....so you know....

Post by Killerwhale » Fri Apr 11, 2008 7:22 pm

As i could get hold of a cheap FZR600 undertray i thought i´d try it.
IT FITS LIKE A GLOVE!! =D>

Ok, i have to admit...it can fit better. I´m going to shorten it in the rear so it goes just like the fairings. The mastermade red arrow will explain hopefully! ....and never mind the paint....

I clearcoated two day´s ago and the fekked fairings ain´t dry yet...WTF!
...starting to think the clearcoat has softened the paint somehow...anyway, i dare not touch them!!

BUT I PROMISE...as soon as they are fitted you´ll get what you want!

I said fekk it and installed it even if clearcoat was not dry so it looks like shit....
The spray used must have reacted with the clearcoat somehow....everything must be redone [-(

Might not work with plastics. I use to dry painting jobs in the baking oven (30 Min.)
50-60°C work quite well. Tried 130° too, but surface not convincing.
(My profile is still as stock as my Trixie is, this might change)
