wheel painting

Post by Omegaman » Thu Apr 10, 2008 10:15 pm

Was thinking of painting the brabb grey wheels

been quoted £50 a wheel to paint or £100 a wheel to polish the rims and paint the spokes

Is that pricey or about right

cheers

James

Mate,
I'd go for powder coating instead of painting every time: much more durable. Should be able to get PC done for about £30 - £40 a wheel, plus probably £10 to you local bike shop to strip the wheel of discs, bearings, tyre etc before and build it back up after.
