I fitted the FZR headlight including a HID kit today.
This part just fits nicely under the dialogs.
The starter (?) here on the left (with yellow trianlge).
I used the original H4-plug because I hate to cut in the original cables, but I'm not sure this will hold. I'll see...
Near the horn you see the plugs from the parking light, I taped this up and put it out of sight after taking the picture.
And this is how it looks! (lights switched off)
The parking light underneat is temporary. I want it above the headlight like it is supposed to be. But then I have to cut a hole in the fairing... so I have to save up the courage for that first. Although the fairing looks prepaired for exactly this small light unit. This is not a coincedence because the original TRX-light reads "3HE", which is the type identification of the FZR 600 (I owned one)
It was raining outside so I didn't feel like going outside to make pictures.
The 6-piston calipers and white mirrors are parts from the YZF.
I haven't decided yet whether I like the mirrors or not but I'm really happy with the light!

For those who are interested.
An USA version of the FZR600:

The headlight is similar to that of the TRX. Parkinglight, normal and high beam are all in one unit (H4).
This is an Europian version of the FZR600.

With projector for normal (H1) and reflector light for high beam (H3). Note the seperate parking light (W5W).
The YZF 750 uses the exact same parking light unit (which is the reason why I have three of them ), but different headlights for normal and highbeam (2x H4).

Okay...
As I didn't take pictures with the original light, I can't show the difference.
So I'll show the xenon light compared with the halogen high beam:
There is a small Philips Bluevision in the parking light, but compared to the xenon it is not so "blue" anymore:

Wow. That looks bloody fantastic. I know little about hid lights but i'm gonna have to look into it now i think (though are they compatible with standard trx lights- they need projector beams, yeah?). Well done mate, must turn heads
(oh thanks for the pics too )
