Seat re-covering
Posted this on the main TRX site but as that seems to be dead at the mo I thought I'd ask you all on here............
Now I've finally got my lovely new thin pillion seat sorted (thanks Phuk) ... I just need to get the little seat pad between rider & pillion re-covered.
At the NEC last year I had a chat with a place that will do it at a very nice price ... plus they'll add writing if I want ... soooooooo .... should I have it done:
plain
"TRX"
"850"
"Jak"
.... also what colour should the letters be:
black - so it looks embossed
blue - to match my quiet little scorpions (and the blue tape holding my leathers together!! )

I'd go with either TRX or Jak (Well, actually it would sat "TaZ", "R8.5" or something...) in the black you mentioned or maybe a dark gray. I'm not really one for adding splashes of color, 9 times out of ten it tends to turn out lookin' cheap. Then again, I'm just an old out of shape drunk.

Well, I would guess that TaZ would put something like "Ducati Killer" on the seat
Dude beats one Ducati 999 in an endurance race and the rest of us get to hear about it at every opportunity
Seriously, I agree with Max/TaZ on the Jak and on the black or grey -- of course that might be because I am an even older, more out of shape drunk than HE is

Hi Jak!
My vote was for "Jak", too - I'm gonna get me a sticker saying "HolerTogni" (a friend of mine owns a cutting plotter )
As to the color - since I like different colors on one bike - I would vote for putting the letters in blue. But it depends on how accurately the blue color of your "silencers" can be matched!
