keihin fcr, vs, tdmr 40mm

can somone please tell me if there is any differance between keihin fcr and TDMR 40mm carbs in performance , are the TDMR carbs as good ? ,,thanks

Sorry, couldn't resist.
From all the research I have done, FCR41s get the nod over TDMR40s and FCR39s but the differences are really not worth worrying about (maybe 2 bhp difference).

I was told by allens performance the tdmrs were better because of thier fine adjustment but the keihins seem to sell better, so in the long run if you decide to take them of again and sell seperate might be better with the fcrs

With FCR41s & K&N pod filters my motor (which was already tuned) made a dyno proven 8bhp more.
And you can get another 1-2 bhp through the range is you do the TPS mod

So, £535 / EUR 757 - still an awfull lot of money but less then others I've seen, for example from Kedo: TDMR 40mm FS-Vergaser-Kit (TÜV) €989.00
As I discussed earlier today with Jak, all gadgets for the TRX seems to be available and more affordable in the UK (in contradiction with the Netherlands). Seat cowls, decals, you guys have everything! 
Even spark plugs are cheaper at your side of the pool.

The way I'm starting to look at it is that although they are expensive, you effectively get a different bike after fitting them. And should you feel the financial pinch, you would get most of your money back if you sold them on through Ebay. Probably a bit like the resale value of an Ohlins shock - even second-hand they seem to go for top dollar.
Having said that, I still havent bought a set yet! Things to do number 63.....

ive only ever had a go on one bike with them fitted an xjr 1300, dont know what they will be like on the trx, but at idle they make a nice rattling noise then as you take of theres a whistling which builds in volume to a deep roar should just add more character to bike that already has it in bucket fulls. hope I dont loose much low rpm power that seems to be one of thier downfalls with four pots
