👋 New TRX owner in Melbourne looking for some stock exhaust cans to get through RWC. If anyone has some they could lend out, sell or swap me for some de-baffled raucous ones then please let me know. Alternatively, might beed to look for aftermarket pair. 🙏

Hi Dsanty!

First, a heartily welcome to the forum from me - have fun here as well as in the real world!

Then, as I'm not exactly in your neighbourhood, I'm sorry but I can't really help you with some stock or roadworthy aftermarket cans - but maybe davamb here has an idea?

Welcoming greets from Munich!

Thanks. Got a few issues with this 27 year old.
Front brakes are terrible. Brake master cylinder feels notchy and zero feel. I bought the bike cheap - maybe this is one of the reasons. I’ve cleaned up one caliper so far but it’s not perfect. One more to go before I bleed them and see if that fixes it otherwise I think it’s worth upgrading them.

Do the calipers from ANY YZF R1 98-02 fit straight up?

Hi Dsanty!

Fitting so-called "blue spots" from R1s or other Yamahas is a very common mod.
That said, also Yamaha calipers with gold or silver eloxated "screws" fit.

And yes, the are plug and play - maybe need only fitting standard washers between the fork and the calipers for exact center position.

And for a better feel also attach the pertaining master cylinder - or even a radial operated one.
If you are interested, I can look up the size that others have fitted.

Modern braking greets from Munich!
