Hi kev c!

I have an Ignitech unit in my Race-TRiXie and could look how the plug is wired.

But this can (will) take a few days cos Race-TRiXie is a few streets away from home and I'll have a few kinda busy days next week.

Asking for patience - greets from Munich!

You can find the wiring instructions on the Ignitech web site here
Refer to the wiring diagrams in the service manual to see the TRX side.
Here is the page as an image
You can get the entire manual in PDF form from the Downloads section of this site.

I've drawn the pinouts of the three connectors, the big Ignitech one and the two TRX ones.
Colour codes are as per the TRX wiring schematic. V is violet but is not used on the TRX.
edit: I have replaced the original pic as it was too confusing even for me. I hope I got it right this time.
You need to make a cable that does the following:

The big connector plugs into the TCIP4
The other two connectors plug into the TRX wiring loom.

I like the diagram from Haynes because it is in color. I dont see much green though :(

I got my Ignitech with the appropiate TRX-unit-to-ignitech-wiring, it did cost a bit extra if I remember correctly.

There is green wire (Lg) in the six pin plug to the ignition box, and also in the plug to the starter cut-out relay, neither of which connect to the Ignitech.
I know others swear by the Haynes manual, but I only swear at it.

I know some call them the great book of lies, but why?

While working on my other bike I have the Haynes manual ánd the original service manual nearby. Best of both.

Haven't you answered your own question?
How many green wires are there in the Hayes manual?
