I put it on the external oil feed pipe to the cilinderhead. First on the head side, but now on the lower engine side.
Keep it mind you need banjo bolts with small holes, check what you take out! If you replace it by a common brake line bolt, the holes will be too big and the oil pressure will get too low.

As written, at the oil pipe connection left side of engine. No need for an actual gauge, wouldn't tell you much. You can use an Aprilia-sensor just connected to a red light like any modern bike. Also you need a correct adapter, available for sale from Poland in a TDM group on FB. For example.

Edit.

The aprilia sensor switch is called RSV0956169. Spec: 0.3-0.6 bar M10x1

Hi kenbev!

A search for "Eisi" will bring up lots of information on here about fitting an oil pressure switch.

Eisi was a member of the German TRX forum, who organised the machining of an adaptor according to Marc_88's specs (who also was a member of the German TRX forum), compiled a kit and sent parcels to all of the members here that were interested at that time.
