A while ago, but let's hop on with a followup. My shock is grounded at the workshop, are there by any change specs from this deal available? Like gas pressure and oil weight?

I seems they can't revalve the shock, but should be able to put it back together with some info (that they can't find themselves).

Got some answer from a nice chap named Paul at MPE. Suspension oil 3wt is the going fluid for TRX shocks, and a needle for self sealing units to insert the nitrogen. Racetech or other. Also, the (discontinued) YA524 Öhlins shock is the one to read up on for reference.

Just thought I note it down if you feel like doing this yourself some day.

How did all this pan out? I’ve finally put silver spots on with and 14mm M/C, and now turning my attention to forks and shock. Mild improvement up front with spacers and oil change, until I can afford something more substantial. But if I can sort the rear out for under $300 I’d be stoked, understanding I’m years late here.

Hey Bricktop,

I've got my shock from that rebuild deal that I've never used. Am open to a decent offer if you're interested. I'm down near PI in Vic.

I've PM'd Bricktop, but he hasn't been back or read the PM. Does anyone else here know the chappy and can get him a message? Craybait is also keen on the shock and I'd be happy to see it go to him if Bricktop can't be contacted in a reasonable timeframe.
