all measurements done. Front forks 40mm shorter than TRX
I would require CNC brackets for my front calipers to make this work.......Bummer.
Can't machine that much off the wheels...........

The ER6 front wheel has 131.3 mm distance between disc mounting faces. The 300 mm disc comes with 2.75 mm of offset. So if you turn them around so that offset is towards the inside of wheel you should get around 125.8 mm between discs. If the TRX has 124 mm, that is pretty close. Might go straight in (Sorting out bearings and spacers of course).

Might make sense to stick with the TRX forks, upgrade internals and upgrade to blue spot calipers. Drop in the lighter ER6 wheels and should be a decent improvement in handling all up.

Is that centre to centre of disc or from the inside edges???
If you run 6mm thick discs that would make a centre to centre of 130mm if measured from inside to inside disc.
Best way is to measure the hub then add the disc offset you'll use to get your correct measurement to centre the disc between the calipers.
The 1st magnesium front rim I ran was a Duomo from a XJR1200 and the hub was 5mm wider so I had to machine a couple of mm's of material from the blue spot mountings on the calipers. Bolt pattern and disc offset was exactly the same as the TRX and on the XJR1200...
Disc offset for the TRX is 10.5mm from memory..
The other option is to make a caliper mount adaptor plate to centre and add any disc diameter increase.

Yes, I did think about turning discs to inside. I Think using a bracket will look better.
It's a no brainer... I must do it.
Just want to measure brake working area. Must not be too different from my Brembo units.

these wheels are now a pain in the ass.....
Brake contact area is too different from my Brembo brakes. about 36mm for brembo (height) and 30mm for ER6

I basically now need fancy 4 pot Tokico calipers and an engineer to make up fancy brackets.
What to do????

I am in South Africa. Posting any TRX850 conversation or advert on Facebook or Gumtree .................is met with complete silence (dramatic pause intended).
If you phone the local Yamaha shop and ask for TRX850 spares.....they tell you to phone the Honda shop. (Grey import bike here)
Strangely the last TRIXIE sold on Gumtree here, was bought within hours. The MZ1000 was sold within Minutes. ]

well this is a go again. Got my ZXR6 radial brake system (front and rear). Nissin...in good nick....better feel than Tokico. Got to pick them up from courier on Sat morning.
Confirmed that the wheels are still available. Just need to scratch out some money later this month and get them.
The bracket will be a challenge and will cost me a penny or two to make.....but I have mates than can.
Will look something like this......ish
