It's a long shot this one, but the depth of knowledge on this forum never ceases to surprise me:
Is the front brake lever from the 2000 YZF600 the same as the one from the TRX? ie. are they interchangeable? I have the opportunity to pick up a master cylinder etc from a YZF of this vintage, but there's no lever included. I plan to fit Pazzo-style replacements anyway so I'm not too bothered about this, but I could then end up looking for a YZF lever for the right bar and a TRX lever for the left bar...which would complicate things somewhat. Or are they the same?

yep, both carry the same part number so are the same..
