WOW! Really like the final product. Now the question is how does it ride with all the modifications?

Not all stick coils are the same with some late model motorcycles use a CDI ignition and those COP's won't work in an inductive style set up.

Good work
Look forward to seeing how they perform..
The CBR600 stick coil mod is common on the VTR1000 firestorm. I have them on my sprint bike, they work a treat.
There appear to be 4 pins on these Coil on Plugs - can you tell me how you connect them to a TRX loom?
Thanks

Maybe they run wasted spark so the other lead feeds the matching 2nd cylinder cop to fire it 360* later 1-4 and 3-2 or however the 4 cylinder firing pattern is.

Yeah, could be a wasted spark at 180 - that would be interesting in a 270 crank

But that's dictated by the rotor and not the cop as the cop is the slave.
Trx runs wasted spark but there is no 2nd cylinder at 360* like an inline 4 drawing from the same trigger and it's only signal going to the cop so can easily take signal from the other cop. Makes no sense having 4 inputs to 1 cop. 1 is power , 1 is signal /trigger. Are they 4 different colour coded wires or 2x red ( 1x power in and 1x power link to another cop on a 4 cylinder) 2x ..... As a trigger and trigger link???

Maybe the other 2 wires are for an aftermarket quick shifter set up to kill spark and not ran via the ECU????

MT-07 cops may work too( there are only 2 inputs ) and good chance the correct length and top seal...

Hadn't thought about the TRX having a wasted spark....................I knew the Mk1 360 TDM engine had as it has only one coil with 2 leads.
I don't know about the 4 contact VW Golf COP - it was something mentioned by a previous poster, koko

The Honda CBR COPs have 2 wires

They may also go back to the ECU and possibly change the spark under load from information supplied by the ECU.
