I had mine made up at GJR Engineering.
Give Graham a call on 32995411.
He was recommended to me by Dave Kellett ..

Nice! Did you prepare 3D models Brian? e.g. Step files or SolidWorks?
Ride Well!
Cheers, Dave.

No I just supplied the cash
I just have him a set of std Trx triple trees and he took all the measurements from there to get the correct offset, just 10mm wider to accomidate the 50/54mm forks.
So theoretically with the step down top yoke, this gives me the same offset / rake and trail as the std Trx.
The raised clip ons allow me to run the bars at the same height as std just forward about 10mm.
Gives me plenty of options that way.

The only issue I had was the clutch lever perch would tap on the fairing brace on full lock so I removed the brace but this induced vibration to the top of the screen.
I mangled that bracket on my last race day.. :)
There was Plenty of handle bar clearance over the side of the fairing.
So this time I've made a slightly larger spacer for the cap head stops so I loose just a couple of degrees in my lock but stops things touching the fairing braces.

I can prepare any models if required. I have designed some already but they are quite elaborate and I am thinking of simplifying the design a bit.

Excellent.
I need to work on my CAD skills. I have run the program once and it did my head in.
I am going through the process now of trying to work out how hard and how much it will cost to convert my mill to cnc. Seems there are a few who have done it to my model and looks like ebay sell everything to make it happen.

gents,
I'm new to all this so excuse my ignorance...
why not use the setup directly off the r1? I'm wading my way through attempting to purchase and install an r1 front end on mine at the moment and am trying to add up options, am brisbane based so may copy this method!

thanks!!

Hi Gainz,
The R1 steering pivot is smaller in length by about 30mm to the TRX and uses a larger bottom bearing. Because of the bigger bearing the bottom OD of the pivot is 31mm OD, where as the pivot on the trx is 30mm.
So you can't use any part of the R1 clamps or the pivot.

I have made my own now out of billet so will use them.
