this is how I do it to pull the shock out or whatever,

Lift the read with a paddock stand
put a stool on either side of the bike
Slide a piece of timber through the frame at the peg hangers so it is sitting on the stools,
Remove the paddock stand

There is many ways to skin a cat. I flip the pegs around so they would fold down in stead of up. I then lft the rear with a padock stand and put a pair of car axle stands under the foot pegs. Remove the padock stand. Jobs done!
