Apparently this works well with yzf750 swing arm. Fits with no major issues. Has anyone here tried it out?

First thing you need to find out is the stroke of the shock.
Have a look in the manual on the specs and I think the Trx has a 62mm stroke.
Look at the centre eye to eye measurement. 345mm std Trx

That gsx-r 1000 03-04 has a 72mm stroke and 332mm eye to eye.
By the time you respring, modify it to a shorter stroke and revalve , you might as well pay for a new wilbers that have a remote reservoir, hi/lo speed comp and rebound with the option of remote preload for extra.
