Hi guys just wondering if anyone knows where I can get an 18 tooth front sprocket asap, as I can't seem to find someone who stocks it. Thanks

You won't find a listing as they don't make them commercially.
I've had to have one made by Chain Gang here in Brisbane ...
My need was special to my vfr800 rear swing arm , why would you ask for one ?

Another option 17/38 as you can get 38 tooth rear sprockets.
If its a 520 set up, look at honda xr 500 rears around 1990,s from memory.
They may not go 38 tho.
You just need to open up the holes to suit the
larger diameter Trx studs. But they are the same pattern.
It's what I had set up before changing to Dymags.

Re: front sprocket 18 t
I just want to have it with me as the next round I have is eastern creek north circuit, so very long straight with fast entry. And the north circuit is all straight. Last round at wakfield park was good but doesn't seem right, I am already running 17, 39, and I was pulling only about 175 180kms and almost past 8000rpm in 5th. But for that straight was good. Changing the clutch with all new plates, stiffer springs as it was slipping when cold, and clutch was locked when i first started it. But it wouldn't be a major problem with top speed when warm I don't think, plus I don't feel it slipping, maybe just in gear change a bit. What do you guys think? The guy who tunned my bike said when he done a trx for bike biz here in Sydney back when they were near new, he remembers running one taller on the front, so that would have been for the creek also.

Re: front sprocket 18 t
You should be doing that in 3rd gear with a 17/39... Are you sure it's not a 15 tooth on the front???
Even a 16/39 you should be able to find close to 220-225kph around 8500 in top.
I figured you must be heading to Eastern ck and looking for more legs.
The clutch should not be an issue even in std trim.

We are all only human.
I know I've made a few silly and simple mistakes and I've logged many on here, just for the sake of others to be aware of if they attempt to do as I have.
