Hi,

Need help with a headlight question. The headlight below will fit, but does the Uk model TRX have the connectors on the loom to drive it?

Would say so, be similar to the FZR400rr lamp I have fitted to my Rex

Just paralell connect hi, low and neutral into a thre way plastic connector and use brass male and female spades - new plugs and spades are available from Vehicle wiring products - As a piece of advicem do not use the cheap nasty pre insulated connectors you get in Halfords and the like - they are crap - ohh yeah buy a proper crimping tool and for belt and braces solder as well.

Connectors are as cheap as chips and they are posted out PDQ

+1 on Simon's advice about decent solder, terminals and crimping tool.

A decent crimping tool may cost you $25 or more but money well spent if you do the odd wiring job.
For about the same price for a box of 10 nasty insulated terminals from you local supercheap motor shop, you can buy online 50 decent brass terminals.

Get some M & FM spade/blade terminals and ring terminals and a metre of heat shrink plus your crimping tool for $50 and you'll have most of what you need for a number of years.
Tin the wire and a touch of heat and extra solder once crimped all covered with a little heat shrink and you will have a trouble free insulated connection allowing excellent current flow.
Cover with a touch of dielectric grease once plugged Inplace

Where did you source the headlight from and does it throw a good light?

Looks like an MZ Skorpion headlight.
