Have another look, I've copied the uploader file and renamed it as a csv
This is often enough to enable a download, them you simply rename it back to exe

I managed to download the version 96, connected to the Ignitech, set TPS on and calibrated 0-100% range. Standard map as far as I can tell.
Much better response through the 2000-4000 rpm band but only once warm and only when the throttle is applied strongly rather than feathered on. Better still with some straight through mufflers instead of the standard ones.
Met a TRX owning couple at Broadford (he was testing an Laverda) who were interested in the Ignitech and in joining the forum.
Thanks to you both for the inner secrets
Dave

Blueish downpipes after installing tcip4

These are original Yamaha downpipes.
No blacksmoke when i rew the bike ,the sparkplugs looking god, normal motor temperature.
Maybe the blueish pipes have something to do with the tcip4 advance timing settings?
Any suggestions?

Changed color means that not all fuel is burned in cylinder and continues to burn in pipe. It means that ignition is not early enough. But it can be only with some specific rpm/throttle to stay so long enough to heat-up pipes. It also means drops in power, so without dino it hard to find the correct place that should be adjusted.

Hi there. I'm happy owner of TDM850 with ignitech for 4 years. During first year I spent some time on dino and received declared 80hp. I was not so happy with consumption - 5.6l/100km. This year one my friend gave me wide-range lambda and I found out that mixed ration is too reach (10-11). So I dropped needles to the minimum and mixed ratio now 11-12. So I back to updating my map and now it looks like:

Code: Select all

ADV_IAP 0 2 5 10 20 30 40 60 80 100
RPM_ADV 1500 2000 3000 3500 4000 4500 5000 6500 8500 9500
ADVANCE 13 14 18 20 24 26 31 31 31 31
                  13 17 27 32 41 43 47 47 48 48
                  13 22 36 42 47 47 47 47 48 48
                  13 21 38 43 46 47 48 48 48 48
                  13 20 36 43 46 47 47 47 48 48
                  13 20 33 42 45 47 47 47 47 47
                  13 20 32 41 45 46 46 46 46 47
                  13 20 31 40 44 45 45 45 45 46
                  13 20 30 40 44 45 45 45 45 46
                  13 20 30 40 44 45 45 45 45 46
I bit curious - does anyone have so big advance?

Sorry that didn't specified: TDM 850 4tx '98. TPS is on board but still hasn't fuel level sensor.
Regarding needles. Due to a common problems with rich mixture, I changed emulsion tubes and needles to factoryPro set. Fixed needles straight with the additional cuted washer. After this I used default ignitec map and went to dino. Dino results

I tried this map the other day. It's been a while since my last ride, but it seemed that the transition from off to on gas was very smooth. I had a few hiccups in second gear at very low speed and high lean, but not enough to figure out a pattern.
I'm not even sure how the carbs are set up, but the engine is stock with K&N filter and open exhausts.

How do I get two maps into the unit, and what kind of switch do I need to swap between the two maps? I guess some stalking of cobbediggaduu's posts will be a winter activity  I'm currently using 200127a_v88 sowtware.

On a side note: The engine didn't turn off when I put first gear in and lowered the sidestand. I'll have to look into that. #-o
