Best paint scheme ideas ?
Has anyone got any thoughts on what the best colour scheme would be for my TRX which has a black frame, wheels and YZF arm/wheel and polished R1 forks . I have a Harris bellypan, single seat cowl, blue spots, 2-1 projection system, LSL rearsets and FZR400 light to be fitted and really don't know which route to take , race rep or a simple understated Kayla style , pearl white job. I know its " only paint " but I want to get it right , thanks Bucko.

Yamaha speed blocks for race rep, a custom paint variation on the standard yamaha red black would be nice - for me the best standard colour - I will keep my colour choice to myself as it is to the best of myknowledge unique

It is a custom paint job. Looks like it is inspired on the R6 and R1 colors from the late 90's and early '00's. Nicely done! Although the yellow should be red.Redben01 wrote:this is my bike,

Speed blocks and race rep like Valencia 2005 style has been done a lot - inclusing myself (for my trackday fairing)SDN wrote:Yamaha speed blocks for race rep, a custom paint variation on the standard yamaha red black would be nice - for me the best standard colour - I will keep my colour choice to myself as it is to the best of myknowledge unique

That's a great paint design Tarwetijger. One of the best I've seen. Works very well for the TRX shape.Tarwetijger wrote:On the road mine looks like this.

It must be true, I read it on the internet.

Nice tail on the R1 .. Pefer that to the bent spoon look of the earlier R6 that a lot seem to convert to.

Exception to that was "willy the honk"? or whatever his name was, who had an R6 tail that looked mint - let it also be said that it was also a very nice paint scheme. In fact no bones about it, it was a very sorted TRX.
