Hello , has anyone ever fitted anything other than R6 , ZX6R/10R rear shocks to a TRX with a YZF750 swingarm , I have one and it fits the arm ok but it looks like I may have to move the reg/rec. Also do any of the above shocks foul the YZF arms bracing at all ? Thanks Steve.

Check the stroke on the shocky as you need to find one around 62mm /345mm centre eye to eye length and your swingarm length linkage and relay arm all come into play with the damping...

K1 gsxr 600 has 325 eye to eye and 74mm stroke
Most of the Gsx shocks are around those specs apart from 07 - 10 models have a 63mm stroke but only 320 eye to eye..

Ok , thanks for the reply , it does look a little short , so I think ill try a different one ! Also when fitting a YZF swingarm which linkage do you use , the one on my 2nd hand arm looks slightly different to the TRX one , but both linkages look like they will fit both the YZF arm and the TRX frame ?

I've been eyeing off the S1000RR shock on ebay, they look like they would fit, but I haven't been able to get any concrete measurements from any sellers... High & low speed damping too.

Thanks mate, good link. So we'd still need an adapter, but it's good to know it's an option.

62mm stroke

on the BMW shock just your height is around 315mm eye to eye.. enough to make a tiny adaptor maybe...
