Thanks for the ride-along...good fun....congrats of getting it set up. That rattle at say 1:07...is that your flatslides? They are very rattley
Inspired me to do a lot of clutch-less upshifts today, lucky not to get booked!

Quite surprised what the go pro picked up myself, never heard it before. But after i changed my TPS for the TCIP4 the bike is quite different with much less engine brake. Maybe back pressure against the slides??
Goes like a mofo though :) Will do the bigger valves and new rings ASAP as well...

Edit: Thinking of it, i think it´s the 900 engine´s vibrations. It vibrates more than the trix engine.
This was done with DB killer so i´ll chuck that out and i´ll hear less of it! :)

What brand / type quickshifter do you have?
I want to look into this too.
Last trackday I saw a QS from Starlane, power shift NRG, that looked promising.

It´s a cordona GP switch, you can see it in the for sale thread on TCIP4.
It was used when bought 3-4 years ago and it´s noticeble, but got it for 2 tenners so....

Please excuse my lack of knowledge on this, but is the NRG a QS that works on the TRX?

Not sure but I suppose so. They state it is universal. Although it will only cut ignition, not the fueling of course like on injected bikes. I really like the solution for the sensor they use.
http://www.starlane.com/vedit/15/cronom ... dprod=1075

But Cobba reminded me I have an Ignitech unit and a QS can be added as a little extra, and it is a lot cheaper than the Starlane, I've seen them for €350. A disadvantage is that I will have to choose between push or pull, the starlane is multipurpose.

I think you know that I found this coincidentally while searching the forum for more QS info.

Yes but you will have to choose between push or pull, right?
I don't use reversed shifting right now but for track use i might want to try it.

Damn you KW, I didn't think I needed a Quickshifter on the TRX, now I think I want one! :D

Less than 60 Euro for the Ignitech ones, not a bad price at all...
