Crash bungs...

Post by trixynut » Wed Jan 31, 2007 1:57 pm

Fancy some of the crash bungs that fit on a threaded bar through the front wheel spindle.

Anyone got any or know anyone that does 'em for the TRX?

Failing that, anyone know what diameter threaded bar will fit througn the front spindle?

8mm, 9mm, 10mm ??

Ta,

Dave.

All you need is a length of threaded bar, a couple of skateboard wheels and some nylocks.

Failing which you can but them on ebay for around £15 for 2 sets

Yep - those ones replace the engine mount bolts.

I think a few people of here have bought them or similar but I don't know of anyone who has tried them in anger. (I have got R&G bungs on mine which are tried and tested  )

Maybe PM Kevtrx850 - he makes them and has posted them to the UK before. They are also tried and tested

Those rear wheel crash bobbins don't look like they could ever touch the ground! Has anyone used them or have them?

I rather carelessly managed to lose one of my engine/frame crash bungs, so if anyone has a spare right hand side bung...

Kind of like that

And they can be used as a nice 'relaxing' point to put your legs up (knees actually) with long straights ....
