Dyno time

Booked some dyno time for tomorrow so should find out how near (or not) my carbs are. Also have been experincing a bit of clutch slip in higher gears at full throttle. Checked clutch adjustment, which is fine so am thinking it is down (hopefully) to more power!

Have ordered an EBC sintered carbon clutch kit, which should hopefully cope with the extra power.

I have also ordered an alternator cover gasket and will remove that cover and respray it as it is looking a bit tatty.

I know the question has been asked but what silver engine paint would you guys recommend?

I used Hycote high temp in aluminium colour which is a very good match to original. Make sure you lacquer over the base coat with a petrol resistant clear coat - i didn't & ended up doing the job twice!

Good luck with the dyno time m8

Where did you book your dyno if you don't mind me asking , do they have a tech there to help out with fueling/mapping ? I need to set up brand new fcrs and programable ignition shortly and have no idea where to go . Have heard some sorry tales of expensive cock ups and dyno disasters !

I went to a place in Cannock, they charge £45 for a couple of runs and some advice on jetting and settings. Mine came out pretty much spot on a tiny bit rich on full throttle main jet and a tiny bit weak on the pilots and actually can you can feel the pilot wants a bit more.
