Questions about rear end mods

What is the easiest and best looking replacement rear end for the TRX? Standard/Standard but race (no pillion)/R1/R6/ etc etc?
Is there an option that can be bolted straight on or are most modifications requiring cutting, drilling and lots of technical know how?

YZF750 is the easiest, use the search function for tonnes of info.
Others have been used including Aprillia, R1 and SSA's but these involve lots of modification.
That said, there is nothing wrong with the standard swing arm.

Sorry about that Danno. I've no experience with fitting other rear ends.
I just like the 90's big butts err I mean rear ends.

personally, I like the standard rear end and think it looks good with a single seat race conversion.

if you want anything else, you need to cut half of the rear subframe away

:hahaha: right you are. 3 hours sleep a night for the last couple nights and no coffee this morning has not helped my attention to detail #-o
Unlike Disco Stu, I can't dance to save myself. :D

Much of a muchness really innit. All you can do is look what's been done already and make your mind up, or just get one you fancy and plonk it on for a look see like I did. I was a bit lucky the top rails were pretty much perfect for the height of mine.

Yes it was with regards to the rear fairing. I'm very impressed with the look of Mille, R1 and R6 (the pictured pictured bike looks AMAZING) I also like the original but't' with single seat conversion as that is the look I'm going for (single seat). Now, as suggested, time to get searching.
Thanks all.
If you do have any good looking rear ends that can pretty much almost bolt on without hacking the rear subframe, please feel free to put those suggestions forwards.
Cheers

I've been searching this site and found this, but with no joy in finding how to get hold of one.

I've done some additional web searching and found Skidmarx, classic british motorcycles, apparently do one (I need to enquire to find out if they are still available);

Skidmarx still do their race seat unit for the TRX - contact Killerwhale (member on here) on the 916 style unit in your photo
