Cheers for the info. I was aware, but I'm not exactly sure where you draw the line between low & hi speed, but what you say makes sense.

I understand it's trial & error guys, I have made copious notes! I haven't gone over the preload again, but I'm pretty sure it was ok... I'll re check it next time I've got another pair of hands in the shed.

I'll do a bit more poking around & see what I can get my head around.
