The one i think it is as im wanting a bridgestone bt020 is 180/55 zr17, does that sound right?
180/55ZR17 sounds good to me, both thunderace and YZF750 orginally has this tire size.

Trixy - what did you do for your chain please??

Wondering what you got on yours seeing as you have the yzf750 wheel, dont know what size chain i need. Are you also running a trx front and a yzf rear sprocket, thanks mate.

:D Billy, it will be aTrx one, or similar size, i.e. number of teeth.
Mines a winter project, have the wheel just have to get round to fitting it.

Bill,

YZF rear and TRX rear have the same sprocket carrirer and sprocket, so you can use your old sprocket/sprocket carrier/cush drive rubbers on the YZF rear if you want. They run the same pitch of chain too. I haven't got a YZF arm, so can't tell you if it all lines up ok, but believe it does. You may need to 'flip' the rear sprocket over, s the recess is on the inside to move the chain in a bit to line it up, but best to ask someone who knows what they're on about!

Standard chain is a 525 with 110 links if I remember right (?)

If you want a new chain, look at http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk They're usually the cheapest and quickest and helpful. I recently got a new one and went for a Tsubaki with gold side plates.

Mr Codger,

I'll post up those sizes for the wheel spacers and a brief "how to" for the YZF rear wheel when I can find 'em!!
