Just hope Cobba doesn't start selling them or the wallet's going to suffer.
Ride Well!
Cheers, Dave.

Re: Quickshifter-what a whole lotta fun!
Got few spare arms n legs that others have traded for an ignition..
Are you after one??
I have both left and right and multitudes of colours and sizes.
I'll even do a two for Tuesday ,
But your up shit creek if chasin a tight arse.

For those who choose $215 US will get you 1 tcip4 plus the adaptor loom, disc and shipping from Ignitech.
The information is there on their site for those who choose to go down this route..
Factor in the paypal and exchange at 87c to the dollar ..
$ 235 Aust local pick up and I have them on demand 90% of the time so no down time...
Your choice to either try and communicate with Ignitech as a number of you have found this a problem to even get a reply and the risk of an overseas shipping.
Anyone want a Czech arm or leg..
And as all those over in the UK who have purchased them will let you know,
$225 + U.S by the time you factor in your taxes.
But I still manage to get them to you for the same price to your door...

OK, next time you're talking to them, can you ask about pricing on the quick shifter modules? I'm not broke enough right nowcobbadiggabuddyblooo wrote: Your choice to either try and communicate with Ignitech as a number of you have found this a problem to even get a reply and the risk of an overseas shipping.

Re: Quickshifter-what a whole lotta fun!
Quickshifter switch is only a few dollars more than the shipping ($58 U.S. from memory and $5 U.S. for each of the shift rods).. The killer being the lowest shipping price is $53 U.S. dollars.
I've just made another order 2 weeks ago which arrived today and won't be doing another for a while as I got in before the arse fell out of the Aust.$
2 of these where with the order..(already sold)
This will give you an idea of the size of them.

Re: Quickshifter-what a whole lotta fun!
well after seeing that video and how awesome it looked I decided to have a look at something like that for mine. Not cheap are they?!
Anyways as it goes the power commander with my 900 fuel injection system I am running has an option for full throttle shift cut, superb. now I only need a way to trigger it. so I pulled the rear brake light switch from the other side of the bike, cleaned it up, modified the bracket and attached it to the shift mechanism like so:

jobs a good un, set to only operate above 3500rpm, with a dwell time of 60ms. It all works fine according to the multimeter, I am at croft tomorrow so I will report back as to whether its worked or whether I have ripped my gearbox apart
If it works its a free mod for me hoorah!

Gee, they're tiny! Let me know next time you're doing an order, I think I'll be keen on one of those.cobbadiggabuddyblooo wrote:

Sorry to ask this guys, but I'm not following this thread very well, is there an easy step guide someone can post on advising what a dumbass TRX owner
(me) needs know in order to fit a quickshifter i.e. is one available, where could I get one from, will I need to fit anything else?

You need the Ignitech TCIP4 ignition that Cobba sells, it has a provision for the quickshifter. Then a switch of some sort to activate it.danno wrote:Sorry to ask this guys, but I'm not following this thread very well, is there an easy step guide someone can post on advising what a dumbass TRX owner(me) needs know in order to fit a quickshifter i.e. is one available, where could I get one from, will I need to fit anything else?
