Sigma slipper clutches

Post by Wombat » Mon Apr 08, 2013 7:57 am

Sigma are now doing slipper clutches for TRX/TDM 850s and TDM900s.
Somewhere around the 600GBP mark

Ordered one from Sigma the other day and within an hour I had a phone call from Neil Spalding from Sigma. He answered all questions plus gave me a bit of a run down on the clutch and he suggested to use the std OEM Trx steel plates and utilise R6 Barnett springs and plates as he didn't particularly like the yamaha friction plates. Especially with a tuned motor. He mentioned the clutch comes with a compact disc explaining how to fit the unit.. Great service and any questions he said just to call him back..

$870 ... Buy the time I replace the springs and plates its around a grand. Once the motor rebuild is done , it will become a complete package with cams, valves , head work rebuilt bottom end and 878 kit.. I'll be happy if I can find another 10hp on top of the 86 I already have. The clutch will allow me to push even harder under brakes and get that power to the ground through the corner 8) 8)
