rear brake pedal

can anyone help me please? i am 6 ft 2 and because of my size 11s i cannot adjust the brake pedal down enough to use it without lifting my foot off the footrest, i know i could just cut the pedal and reweld it but does anyone know of another pedal i can fit which would drop the pedal for me?

None that I know of, the mod you`ve already mentioned is the best way forward to be honest.

what i did was take the pushrod off, remove the adjusting nut and discard it, trim the threaded end of the clevis back with a grinder (i halved its length) and reassemble.
i haven't got any pix disassembled, but here is the result.

Had the same problem and with my aftermarket pegs (pegs only) on it , its even worse.
The aftermarket pegs are a bit lower due to the fact they do not have any rubber on them.

Solution for me was just removing the nut.
Grinding the thread down would help a bit more.

I know this is probably a bit late to help radman, but having just had the same issue, I've since found out after digging through some parts bins at work that the steel brake pedal fitted to a thundercat (don't know for sure if any other models got the same one) fits, is a lot lower without any adjustment as the pin attatchment is further down anyway, and theres enough room for adjustment to have the lever pointing pretty much straight down without the locknut and no trimming of the pushrod, and even with it on has been set low enough for me (5'10) with about an inch and a half of pedal height to go, hope this can help someone in the future, sorry its a bit late lol
