BLASPHEMY! Suzuki parts on a Yamaha
Mirrors are hinged, which means they can be pulled back to get through tight doorways and small traffic gaps. They extend another 3+ inches beyond TRX joke-mirrors. I also have them mounted on 1 inch extenders as I have obviously converted bars. Standard clipons would have an even clearer rear view.
Mirrors can be liberated from the faired Bandits 1200S K1-K5 (2001-2005) or Bandit 600S K-K4 (2000-2004).
Mounting points are about 3mm less that TRX mounting holes, so a 6mm drill bit has to be used to widen the holes slightly. About an hour's work at most - removing originals and finding longer screws to attach the mirrors takes up half the time.
Are they worth it? Considering the lack of used SZR660 mirrors I'd say yes - £8 for the pair off fleabay.

I've never seen or heard this conversion before, the SZR one's I did...
But nevertheless, not bad at all, but IMHO makes the REX wider then ever
(although you've got a wider REX already due to your converted bars)

I'm thinking of removing my mirrors in a while when I have my custom exhaust downpipes with high mounted oval cans, sort of like de TotM of Trixynut.
