Fitting an R6 Shock

Post by Tealman » Mon Oct 03, 2016 9:27 pm

I know there are different trains of thought as to whether the standard shock should be replaced or rebuilt, but I've gone ahead and bought an R6 shock anyway. I've also bought the Projection Components (PC) fitting to give the assembly the correct length and wondered whether the R6 lower shock to PC fitting uses the same bolt used to attach the standard shock bottom fitting to the frame? Cheers :D

R6 shock to PC extender = R6 bolt
PC extender to TRX dogbones = TRX bolt
Projection Racing 2-1 with Akropovic hex carbon can, Keihin FCRs @ 150 main, R6 shock conversion, 520 chain conversion, Ignitech ignition, Li-po battery. Further weight reduction & front suspension in progress ....
