Looking for some rearsets - are there any from other bikes that can be made to fit?

The mountings are the same as YZF750R. Originally, the complete peg unit (what do you call these) on the right is exactly the same, including the brake pedal.coxylaad wrote:Looking for some rearsets - are there any from other bikes that can be made to fit?
On the left side the shift lever has a different mounting point.
LSL rearsets are still available for the TRX.

How far back and up do you want them? Projection Components plates are about 20mm up and 20mm back, using the original pegs and levers.

These are pre-production ones so not as well finished as the final job

I speak to Michaela and Chris at Projection all the time, they are regular track day goers in our group.
The problem is we don't have any stock rearsets to play with!
Oh hang on we might do actually. that sounds like a decent plan, will sort that out this weekend

Re: TRX 2 - The tuned 850 one!
got the tank and the bodywork back:
I think we made a little bit of a mistake. The original plan was all blue with white flashes on the seat hump, this progressed to white across the top of the seat right to the front. it worked in my head but in reality it just seems to highlight the fact that the bike has a different rear end on it.
I plan to sort this with some white vinyl to carry on the white flash to the front of the bike.
watch this space.
