Just got back from putting some fresh rearsets on our ride out leaders Trx and he will be on here shortly to give a quick route plan

The pace will be safe and reasonable for all levels of riding so dont worry about keeping up ( Im a steady rider meself ) and should any of our quicker riders wish to go for a blast then there will plenty of opportunities

Looking at the sugegstions, looks good for the Skipton to Leyburn bit.. depends if it suits you guys better to all meet nearer preston though?

If going from Skipton, I'd suggest:
Skipton to Kettlewell
Kettlewell to Leyburn and the Manor cafe is fine also (brew)
Manor cafe to Hawes via Bainbridge
Hawes to Garsdale then nip up to Kirkby Stephen
Kirkby Stepehn to Sedburgh
Sedburgh to Devils Bridge (brew)
Devils towards Caton but then cut back to Ingleton through Bentham...
Ingleton to Ribblehead and then down god's very own favourite road to Settle.

How does that look?

Open to shorter route if we run tight, and know the area very well so if you would rather do tighter lanes thats easy

As Chris says, we will make sure everyone is looked after and there'll be opportunities to enjoy yourself..

For the benefit of Mr Plod, this isnt an organised ride, I'm just letting you know that i'm going for a ride and you are welcome to do the same route

Exactly the route I'd suggest Bring a little rucksack though coz if the brewery is open or the shop has some in, the ale from the Manor is ace

The Fairfield Cafe is ideal for anyone from Preston. As per previous post I'll be at Athy BP filling up at 8-15 then the Fairfield at 9-30 ish so if that works in with you chaps I'll see you there, if not see you at Skipton.
